Sri Balaji Temple of Great Lakes is glad to invite you for the Sri Venkateswara Thiru Kalyanam Mahotsavam on the auspicious day of Uthratathi Star on Sunday, 11/14/2026 at Sri Balaji Temple, 3325 Middlebelt Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323.

This is the 18th time, we will be performing the Thiru Kalyaana Mahotsavam (Divine Marriage Ceremony) of Lord Venkateswara and his concerts at the temple premises. The ceremonies will be conducted similar to Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD).

We are looking for 108 couples to perform the Sri Vari Kalyanam. The Suggested donation for the Sri Vari Kalayanam will be $116.00. Silver Sponsorship will be $251.00, Gold Sponsorship will be $508.00 and Grand Sponsorship will be $1116.00.

Sri Maha Satya Narayana Puja sponsorship will be $51.00.

Highlights of the Sri Venkateswara Thiru Kalyanam

• SampradhAyic Wedding will be performed as five parts. (1) VaaghAnam
• (2) KanyAdhAnam (3) Vara PrEkshaNam (4) PaaNigrahaNam
• and (5) Saptha Pathi.
• Kanyadhanam - Couples who have sponsored Sri Venkateswara Thirukalyanam will perform Kanyadhanam of Sri Devi and BuDevi to Lord Venkateswara. Once you do perform Kanyadhanam, Then you will part of God family. The Hindus consider gifting of their daughter to a suitable groom as a very holy deed. In fact it is supposed to be superior to many other holy deeds like giving alms, giving food etc.
• Ceremonies will be conducted similar to Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD).
• Thiru Kalyanam on the auspicious Bharani Nakshatra Star and Karthika Poornima
